The logo for University of Alabama Birmingham. The Department of Cell, Molecular, Developmental Biology was looking to create a separate logo to use on external and internal communications, business cards, and general branding work. I created two basic logo ideas based on the look and feel of the original logo for the university so there was a sense of cohesion between the university and the department. I also worked towards making the logo timeless so it wouldn't have to be updated each decade. I placed these logos in mockups including a notebook, business card, pencil and eraser. Enjoy.
